The frosty mornings have got us thinking about Christmas. We spent this morning in the office sharing our favourite Christmas DIY ideas which we’ve reproduced below. Whether you’re after gifts, decorations or food we hope they will help with your winter finances

1. Make your own Sock Snowman

2. Christmas Cake

3. Dip a candle

Candle dipping at the annual Advent fair at Wynstones School on the 29th of November is a great activity for all ages to make a beautiful candle which can be used as a gift or to light at home during Christmas. www.wynstones.com

4. Make a Christmas wreath

Stroud Valleys Project are hosting an event on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th December to learn how to make festive wreaths from natural materials. All the materials are provided and you can leave with a beautiful handmade wreath to hang on your door.

5. Mice Pies
