UnknownHat & Headdress making

Learn how to design and make your own summer headpiece or cocktail hat. Combine craft skills with fashion artistry to learn the essentials of millinery. Jessie will teach a variety of millinery techniques, which will include how to design a style to suit your face/hair/physique; how to hand-block straw to make a base for your hat; how to trim your creation with feathers, flowers, veiling; and how to ensure a perfect and discreet fit. Prior millinery experience isn’t necessary, although some experience of hand sewing will be an advantage.

Styling and fashion photographyStyling and photography workshop

Get the best pictures ever with this inspiring styling and photography workshop. Have a dress up and set the scene at a venue or location of your choosing, and spend the day looking fabulous! Your Instagrams and Facebook pics will be the envy of every hen!

Sew a Quilt Workshop

Sometimes you just want a bit of old school sewing time with your favourite ladies. Get the whole gang involved in making a beautiful wedding quilt. Everyone can stitch in messages and memories into the panels as a gift for the husband and wife to be. These exciting a unique days can be as half day sessions or we can make a whole weekend of it! Just let us know what you are looking for and we will make it work!

This Ring Making Workshop brings you together in a group or on your own to make your very own handmade ring with the guidance of a professional jeweller! This is a day workshop and every member of the group should be able to produce a ring by the end of the day. Textured rings can be made using a range of punches and tools. All tools and equipment is provided  and you can purchase the material from the workshop provider on the day as you go along.

Life drawing

Strippers? Oh goodness gracious no! If you are definitely not a “let’s hire a stripper” kinda girl… but wouldn’t mind seeing something beautiful and erm learn something too then why not have a day learning s bit of life drawing. We can supply you with a model or if you are a daring bunch you can take it in turns to be the model and our tutors will take you through step by step guides so you all come away with something to remember the day with too.

Circus Skills

A workshop that covers most popular circus skills. Skills included are Juggling (Balls, Clubs and Rings), Plate Spinning, Diabolo, Poi, Stilts, Unicycle and Devil/Flower Sticks. All skills require concentration and are certainly a challenge. Some people pick a skill up in 5 minutes, others 5 hours…others 5 days! Different for everyone and suitable for all ages. Good fun and good for the brain!
